The current release is Shoes 3.1, codenamed “Policeman”.

We’re working on a .deb, .rpm, and other packages for Shoes. But due to some tricky bits, they don’t work right now. Please compile Shoes from source , it’s not very hard!

Known Issues

There are a few known problems with Shoes.

• Windows Vista: there are a few rendering issues, including some flickering and black boxes. Windows XP and 7 are fine.
